“48 HOURS TO ACTION”
By Noël Alumit, MASA Community Organizer

On December 1, the UCLA Art|Global Health Center presented “48 Hours to Action,” a dynamic evening of entertainment to observe World AIDS Day, a time to bring global awareness to HIV/AIDS. “48 hours to Action” rallied artists from the UCLA campus to generate art related to a theme revealed just 48 hours before the performance. The theme this year: No Cure Does Not Equal No Solution.

The 14 students responded in stunning form, coming up with beautiful dances, engaging monologues, lovely paintings and photographs, and awe-inspiring songs or poems.
